Position Summary

The Lead Regulatory Project Coordinator supports execution of regulatory activities across products and manufacturing sites, with a primary focus on coordinating field inspections and maintaining operational workflows. This role ensures regulatory work is properly tracked, documented, and completed on time while improving processes, tools, and visibility.

 

Key Responsibilities

Field Inspection Coordination (Primary)

  • Coordinate end-to-end field inspection activities
  • Gather required inputs, prepare documentation, and submit inspection requests
  • Schedule and manage inspections across field technicians, program managers, and external partners (e.g. UL, CSA, local government inspectors)
  • Track status and ensure timely completion

 

Operational Support

  • Support creation of purchase orders and processing of invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and documentation

 

Tracking, Tools & Process Improvement

  • Track regulatory tasks and inspection status across projects
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and status reports
  • Create SOPs and workflows
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint)

 

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with engineering, field services, and external agencies
  • Support prioritization and respond to escalations
  • Communicate status, risks, and timelines clearly

 

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–7 years in operations, coordination, or compliance roles
  • Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Experience with SharePoint, Excel, or workflow tools preferred
