Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of electrical equipment and materials.

  • Enter receiving, inventory, and shipping information into the computer system and keep it accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare and check shipping paperwork, such as bills of lading and packing lists, and report mistakes right away.
  • Keep warehouse records organized and easy to find, including receiving documents, packing lists, signed delivery proof, and damage reports.
  • Partner with Production, Production Planning, and Quality to make sure materials are where they are needed and finished equipment ships on time.
  • Make sure large and heavy equipment is stored, blocked, braced, and secured correctly to prevent damage.
  • Enforce plant safety rules and safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
  • Run regular inventory counts, find the cause of any count differences, and fix them.
  • Help plan and set up the warehouse layout, storage, equipment, and work routines for the new manufacturing plant as it comes online.
  • Flexible and adaptable team player who operates with agility and resourcefulness and thrives in an often-changing environment. You will be operating with a start-up mindset and must be willing to help wherever needed - "not my job" is an unacceptable response.
