THE ROLE 

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our new facility in Cartersville, GA. This role supervises a team, overseeing daily operations in a 130,000 sq. ft warehouseThe ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a keen eye for process optimization. 

Expected schedule is Monday - Friday Operations; Occasional Weekends During Peak

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Direct oversight of inbound and/or outbound activities. 
  • Communicate work assignments to all team members on the floor while guiding them in their daily tasks and responsibilities 
  • Responsible for performance of KPIs of area that is within span of control that may include unload, putaway cycle time, picking/shipping cycle time, picking/shipping accuracy within SLA. 
  • Responsible for monitoring and capturing KPIs of area that is within span of control that may include unload, putaway cycle time, picking/shipping cycle time, picking/shipping accuracy within SLA and cycle counting accuracy. 
  • Responsible for the training and certification, as applicable, of all team members, ensuring adherence to policies, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). standards and procedures. 
  • Responsible for dock readiness ensuring containers are spotted at the correct doors, chocks are in place, pallet count is prepositioned at door and conveyor in place. 
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures in compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility.   
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process. 
  • Supervise QC checks to ensure inbound receipts are compliant with physical and system data. 
  • Manage the grouping, committing and printing of pick tickets for self-fulfillment and wholesale drops in an effective and timely manner as needed. 
  • Manage the shipping method and carrier selection for all outbound shipments including both Fulfill By Amazon and Walmart Fulfillment Service ensuring SLA's and cost expectations are met. 
  • Responsible for FBA plan creation in Seller Central, TO creation in Fishbowl and data capture at both order and sku level. 
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels for all warehouse non-fulfillment supplies and prepare replenishment orders. 
  • Ensure any issues related to the Shipping Label Program are resolved with tech/eng avoiding order shipment delay. 
  • Ensure all logs are maintained and data accurately and effectively captured. 
  • Ensure power equipment is properly secured when not in service. 
  • Identify, suggest and implement process improvements that will result in efficiency, quality or safety improvements. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving warehousing environment.  
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising in a high-volume warehouse.  
  • Experience with power operated equipment such as lifts and order pickers  
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel   
  • A valid driver’s license.  
  • Strong leadership skills with knowledge of all facets of warehouse operations.  
  • Experience with Fishbowl WMS a plus.  
  • Bilingual communication skills with the ability to clearly convey written and spoken information to team members in both English and Spanish a plus.  
  • Experience with Amazon FBA Shipping systems and policies a plus.  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & OTHER ABILITIES REQUIRED 

  • Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.  
  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications.  
  • Basic typing skills.  
  • Shipping software systems including UPS and Federal Express.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent customer service skills.  
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful, but not required.

COMPENSATION

The expected base pay for this position is $60,320-$75,400 USD Annually. Final salary will be based on a candidate’s experience, location, and market practices. Beyond base salary, you will be eligible for health and welfare benefits (including free options for Team Member only coverage), comprehensive time off programs, including vacation and sick leave, and other perks. We aim to offer a competitive and attractive compensation package that reflects the local market conditions and ensures our employees feel valued and supported.
