The role

Infinite Reality is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join the Infinite Reality Studio team. You’ll play a crucial role in crafting intuitive and immersive user interfaces for digital experiences, supporting our journey to make the Internet more fun, imaginative, and immersive. As part of our mission, you'll collaborate with our design and engineering teams to create interfaces that are both visually compelling and highly functional for a range of media applications.

Our team empowers creators and brands with the tools they need to build 3D spaces, from showrooms to hangouts, to media hubs. As a UI/UX Designer, you'll help design interfaces that allow users to seamlessly navigate and interact with these environments, ensuring an optimal user experience across all platforms.

What you’ll do

• Design Development:
  • Lead the design and development of intuitive and immersive user interfaces for all platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and artists to translate requirements into highly functional and visually stunning user experiences.
• Prototyping & Wireframing:
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate design concepts and user interactions.
  • Utilize user research and feedback to iteratively improve designs and enhance the user experience.
• Design Systems & Consistency:
  • Develop and maintain UI design systems that ensure consistency across platforms and align with our brand identity.
  • Ensure that the design is optimized for usability and accessibility, including considerations for controller-based navigation.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the engineering and 3D art teams to ensure the implementation of UI elements and the UX flows meets design specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and customer needs, ensuring that design decisions align with both.
  • Maybe: Participate in design reviews with cross-functional stakeholders from Engineering, Product Management and Marketing to iterate & move features forward.
• User Research & Testing:
  • Conduct qualitative & longitudinal user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve the user experience.
  • Analyze feedback and data to make informed design adjustments.
• Innovation & Trends:
  
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging UI/UX practices, and design innovations.
  • Incorporate cutting-edge techniques and technologies into our design process to keep our projects at the forefront of the industry.

What you’ll bring

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing UI/UX designs for consumer-oriented products, games and live services
  • Working with both a Live Service product team and developing a pre-1.0 experience.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in user-centered design, with strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design.
  • Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Figma, with Unity or Unreal Engine for interactive prototypes.
• Creativity & Innovation:
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative UI & UX designs
  • Ability to balance creativity with user-centric problem-solving to create functional and engaging user experiences.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and artists.
  • Clear and effective communication, with the ability to present and explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
