VP of Technology & Engineering - fully remote!

US - Remote

What You Will Do In This Role

You’ll be leading Inflect’s technology and product strategy with a bold, future-forward mindset, providing thought leadership and direction on everything AI and platform architecture, and accelerating the pace and efficiency of how we build our core platform and toolset. You’ll refine the tech vision, architect scalable systems, and champion a product experience that makes IT procurement feel less like pulling teeth and more like clicking “buy now.” Think Amazon Prime for buying datacenter, cloud, and network services. You’ll be the connective tissue between Engineering, Product, and Design—ensuring we work fast, scale smart, and always keep the user front and center.

This is a leadership role where you’ll be expected to zoom out and think strategically, but also roll up your sleeves and dive into the details. You’ll guide the Engineering, Product, and UX teams through complex decisions, foster a culture of ownership and experimentation, and make sure our systems are secure, performant, and future-proof. Especially in this new world of AI and deep learning, we not only help supply the digital infrastructure to power the world’s AI ambitions, we are leveraging it to be the best place to buy and sell these infrastructure services globally.

Who You Are

You’re a product-minded technologist who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ve led engineering and product teams through scale, and you know how to balance speed with stability. You obsess over UX, speak fluent DevOps, and know how to translate customer pain points into elegant solutions. You’re not just a builder—you’re a connector, a mentor, and a visionary. You love leading and growing teams and thrive when you are able to build bridges and tear down silos.

You probably get a rush from solving gnarly platform challenges and seeing your team create something that users love. You’re comfortable making tough calls, and you know how to rally cross-functional teams around a shared goal. You believe that great tech is invisible, great design is intuitive, and great leadership is about empowering others.

Who We Are

We’re revolutionizing the way companies buy and sell digital infrastructure, and we’re extremely proud of that. Digital infrastructure is the enabler of the internet and at the core of every industry. Traditionally it’s been bought manually through service provider sales people, resulting in high costs, slow procurement cycles, and services that don’t work the best - slowing down the ability of companies to build and hold back human innovation. Inflect’s marketplace and advisory are removing friction so any company can get what they need, when they need it, at the right deal terms. By achieving our mission, we unlock businesses to build and human innovation inflects!

Of course, we’re also a startup, and it’s important that you understand what that means if you work for us. We work quick, we work smart, we work hard, and the road to success is filled with some of the highest highs, but also has its fair share of lows. If you’re looking for the same thing day in and day out, this will not be the place for you. (And that’s totally okay!) We’re all owners of Inflect -full time employees receive option grants-, and we know that we’re the reason we’ll achieve our goals, or we’ll be the reason we don’t. So believe me when I say that we’re hell bent on achieving our goals. If this sounds like the kind of environment you would thrive in then we’d love to have you!

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
