We are seeking a VP, Strategy & Analytics to lead and drive a high-performance team that delivers best-in-class strategy and insights to ensure our clients’ business goals are achieved. This role will bring operational and strategic excellence across a variety of verticals targeting Fortune 500 brands. This role will partner across functions to bring the very best innovation, intelligence and strategies for overall team and client success. This role demands a leader with a robust blend of strategic thinking and executional excellence, capable of transforming data and insights into compelling strategic plans that fulfill upon our high standards for growth. 

In general, a typical day will include:

  • Lead the Strategy & Analytics vision, setting the standard for and driving the impact of the function in campaign and client excellence.
  • Develop and implement a strategic planning process that is scalable and adaptable to our clients goals and ensures effective and consistent standards across all portfolios.
  • Contribute to brand strategy, developing relationships with clients across all levels and functions, leading and developing the strategic competency of the team.
  • As the recognized expert and leader in the space, drive innovation and Thought Leadership both as a new business asset and across our team to drive modern and effective solutions for our clients. 
  • Utilize your exceptional data storytelling and problem solver skills to present powerfully to high-profile clients and stakeholders, driving current and new business opportunities.
  • Write and deliver strategies and POV’s that support and drive client recommendations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across the immediate department and all teams within the company to ensure cohesive and impactful campaign delivery.
  • Provide vision, direction, coaching and management to individuals within the team to ensure their work aligns with our mission, goals and values. 
  • Be a resource to support and develop the internal teams overall competency, presence and technical expertise to expand and grow the impact across the business and our clients results. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually push the boundaries of strategy & insights. 

Being a Vice President, Strategy & Analytics requires:

  • At least 10 years of experience in strategy with progressive levels of responsibility
  • 5+ years of previous management experience, established skillset in creating a team culture that fosters collaboration and high-performance 
  • Adept and interested in proactively leading and elevating strategic thinking across a portfolio of brands and leading projects
  • Competent in identifying meaningful, useable, and impactful insights
  • Able to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables. 
  • Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly. 
  • Proven track records of strategically aligning plan campaigns with client strategic goals and KPIs
  • Well versed in client pitches, exceptional communication and presentation skills and able to command a room and influence
  • Excellent written communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • A proactive action-oriented mindset with the ability to create and implement processes to enhance strategic output 
  • The ability to operate effectively within the unknown and lead the charge
  • Experience at agency, marketing-tech or media start-up desirable

Salary range:

$170,000 - $210,000
