Role Summary:

As a Senior Systems Administrator / Architect at Infomedia Americas, you will be responsible for the design, provisioning, maintenance, and configuration of the systems and network in a majority Windows Server environment. You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the environment and incident response. You will design and implement network and data center architectures that support our business objectives while ensuring high availability and optimal performance. A strong security mindset is essential with PCI DSS or ISO audit experience being preferred. Expertise in networking, firewall configuration and management, PowerShell scripting, HAProxy or equivalent load balancing solution implementation, will be key in developing and optimizing our IT infrastructure.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments (2012-2022), ensuring their reliability, security, and optimal performance. 
  • Manage and optimize Active Directory and IIS configurations to support operational requirements. 
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records. 
  • Utilize advanced PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, enhance system functionalities, and troubleshoot issues. 
  • Configure and manage HAProxy load balancing solutions to ensure high availability and fault tolerance of our applications. 
  • Ability to design and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery and backup strategy.  
  • Administer firewall systems, with a preference for experience with PfSense, to protect network integrity and data security. 
  • Implement and maintain networking solutions that support the organization's connectivity and performance requirements. 
  • Leverage experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and Hyper-V to optimize resource utilization and infrastructure flexibility. 
  • Conduct security vulnerability assessments using Tenable and act as a key resource in PCI DSS audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects, providing expert guidance and technical leadership. 
  • Lead and mentor junior team members in best practices and technical challenges. 
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on call rotation.    

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Windows Server environments and network setup and architecture. 
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting. 
  • Advanced knowledge of firewall management and networking principles. 
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.

Atlanta pay range

$100,000 - $135,000 USD
