Summary of Primary Function/Scope:
The Director of Strategic Partnerships is a senior individual contributor responsible for developing, managing, and expanding IHT's strategic agency account relationships. This role owns a defined portfolio of strategic accounts, drives same-store visit and revenue growth, pursues multi-market expansion and account reactivation, and serves as IHT's senior point of contact for executive-level agency stakeholders. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director provides regular strategic updates on account performance and market intelligence and contributes to the evolution of IHT's partnership strategy over time.

- Drive same-store visit and revenue growth within assigned accounts by identifying and converting expansion opportunities across service lines and markets.
- Develop account plans for named strategic accounts, outlining growth trajectory, expansion milestones, and key relationship contacts.
- Identify and pursue multi-market partnership opportunities within the existing account base, coordinating with Operations to ensure capacity and service readiness.
- Lead reactivation efforts for dormant or underperforming strategic accounts.
- Evaluate and pursue new logo opportunities on a selective basis where a prospective partner meets the criteria for strategic account designation.
- Negotiate renewal terms and expansion agreements for named strategic accounts, escalating material commercial decisions to the CEO.
- Monitor trends in the home health and therapy staffing landscape and translate market intelligence into recommendations for the CEO and senior leadership.
- Partner with Marketing to inform partner-facing materials and value proposition messaging, providing market and partner perspective rather than owning content creation.
- Partner with Operations to ensure strategic account commitments are operationally supported and service delivery aligns with agency expectations.
- Collaborate with the Client Success team on account coordination, account health visibility, and escalation protocols.
- Maintain accurate account documentation in CRM (Hubspot), capturing relationship status, expansion opportunities, risk signals, and next-step accountability
- Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and responsibilities of this position.

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7 or more years of experience in strategic partnerships, enterprise account management, or business development required.
- Experience building or expanding a partnerships function or account portfolio in a growth or transition environment preferred.
