Project Manager
Position: Project Manager
Location: Tokyo, office based
Vacancy Type: Permanent, full time
Reporting to: President – Japan
Job purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible for the entire process from project setup to project delivery. They support Project Leaders to ensure that all back-end activities of project delivery are completed as per the plan. The projects are primarily funded locally by clients in Japan, but some are funded by global pharmaceutical organizations focused on their presence in the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational set up of the project as directed by the Project Leader
- Project Workbook development under guidance of the Project Leader
- Briefing/debriefing to the field team assigned on the project.
- Conduct head office interviews for the project as needed.
- Draft the storyline for the projects under guidance of the Project Leader
- Complete the slide deck for the project delivery.
Essential Skills
- More than 3 years of marketing or commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry or at a consultancy firm, with experience in both being preferred.
- University degree or above, MBA preferred.
- Assertive, dynamic, communicative leader.
- Equip critical thinking and logical communication skills.
- Collaborative skills with strong emotional intelligence.
- Create the culture of teamwork, focussed on personal aspiration and achievement for all team members.
- Good time management.
