The Role

The Compensation Lead is a new role in our centralized HR organization responsible for the design and execution of our compensation and mobility programs. You will play a critical role within the Total Rewards COE ensuring our employees are fairly and competitively compensated whilst meeting the needs of a changing workforce and aligning to our overall Total Rewards strategy. You will partner with key stakeholders to operationalise the strategy and ensure it is understood and embraced across the organisation.

 

You will report to the Global Head of Total Rewards who is based in the UK and be part of a team of Rewards specialists across the UK and US.  This role should be located in the US and remote working is possible, as long as business needs are met.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Design, administer and project manage all compensation programs working towards harmonising programs across the organisation where appropriate
  • Support with global mobility programs including consideration for compensation structure
  • Lead and mentor team members and stakeholders to ensure their development and success
  • Point of contact and escalation for the People Services team who are responsible for day-to-day compensation administration
  • Lead compensation and mobility communications ensuring awareness and transparency
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with external partners
  • Ensure compensation and mobility programs remain competitive, are regularly benchmarked, and meet statutory requirements
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify opportunities for compensation and mobility to add strategic value across the organisation
  • Manage all risk and compliance requirements
  • Work with the Head of Total Rewards to support Remuneration Committee reporting
  • Implementing and communicating relevant changes in employment law and regulations
  • Analysing data and staying abreast of new or emerging trends to meet the needs of a changing workforce
  • Maintain and become a subject matter expert of the company’s Job Architecture
  • Job evaluation and mapping to determine appropriate salary levels, job classifications, pay scales and governance
  • Manage performance-based pay programs such as merit increases and bonus and incentive plans including designing and leading the annual compensation cycle
  • Collaborate with HR to support the integration of employees as part of a merger or acquisition
  • Partner with Finance teams to ensure proper budgeting and forecasting of compensation programs
  • Upskill our HR teams and People Managers to better understand what compensation and mobility means at Inizio
  • Create an online data source for HR and People Managers to access compensation and mobility information
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and make recommendations for adjustments to existing plans or introduction of new programs
  • Support with ad hoc compensation and mobility projects as needed by the business

 

What do you bring to the Role?

  • A passion for building & scaling the compensation function to support the company’s growth ambitions and competition for talent
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and strategies ​across different geographies
  • Understanding of job evaluation methodologies, market analysis, fixed and variable pay, and salary structures
  • Knowledge of relevant labour laws, regulations and guidelines related to compensation including pay equity and transparency legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders including the ability to explain complex compensation concepts
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong analytical skillset with experience using data to drive decision making
  • Demonstrated experience articulating a vision and translating it into an executable strategy​
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Adaptable and comfortable shifting between high-level design work to operational work in a global fast paced environment

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation

$100,000 - $130,000 USD
