The role

As a ServiceNow Administrator you will oversee the daily administration, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. You will support the implementation and enhancement of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and other modules as we continue to expand its use of the platform.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
  • Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform, including user roles, workflows, data quality, and integrations.
  • Support development of custom ServiceNow applications and enhancements to existing modules.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop documentation for system configurations, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to ServiceNow users across the company.
  • Help with ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and testing in development and production environments.
  • Monitor performance and ensure system stability, availability, and security.
  • Support ITIL process adoption and service improvement projects.

 

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with ITSM and ITIL processes. (ITIL Foundation desirable)
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
  • Proficient in scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript for example) and ServiceNow workflow development.
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification (CSA) required; additional certifications (e.g., ITSM Implementation Specialist, CMDB, or Discovery) are welcome.
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers) is desirable.
