Location: Citywest Business Campus, Dublin, Ireland

Working arrangements: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office

Reporting to: Head of Sustainability

 

 

The Role

We are looking for a Junior Sustainability Support Executive to join our dynamic sustainability team. In this entry-level role, you will support our environmental, social, and governance projects. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate ethics to develop their skills and contribute to impactful projects that inspire positive change within the company and community.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate internal and external sustainability projects, such as employee volunteering, charity partnerships, and the roll out of Corporate driven sustainability campaigns across the organisation.
  • Help organise and support sustainability-related events, including webinars, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Support the planning and coordination of external communications, including the development of our annual sustainability report, associated press releases, and social media content.
  • Support the work of Inizio's employee-led Sustainability Working Groups to ensure successful implementation of project goals.
  • Support the wider sustainability team with the collection and tracking of data related to energy usage, fleet, business travel and other sustainability metrics to support reporting.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the sustainability team, including assisting with project management tasks and scheduling meetings in pursuance of the above responsibilities.

 

What you bring to the role

  • Third-level degree in Social Sciences, Sustainability, Business or a related field.
  • Experience through internships or volunteer work in sustainability or through a non-profit organisation would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn with good attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams and team members.
