
RTR Accountant
The Role
Reporting to an RTR Divisional Controller, this is a global RTR Accountant role within our Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC).
The RTR Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate month-end reporting for several of Inizio’s entities. Working closely with the managers of the assigned entities, the RTR Accountant ensures that their financial reporting is accurate, created on a timely basis and in line with both the control framework and accounting policy requirements.
This role will be based in either our central London (UK) and operate a hybrid working arrangement, with typically 2 days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end accounting processes for your entities.
- Making all journal entries for the assigned entities; accrual, prepayments, reclass, adjustments, and recurring entries.
- Manage transactions for the entities’ accounts, including cash receipts and reconcile bank accounts.
- Create and complete cash forecasting for weekly submission.
- Run payroll report and make all payroll cash entries.
- Manage all intercompany activity - payments, recharges, reconciliation, invoicing, receipts, journal entries, approval process, and performance fee invoicing.
- Process monthly rent entries in Maconomy according to the IFRS lease schedule.
- Complete all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- In FCCS, complete all supplementary forms and validations.
- Run depreciation activities and reconcile Fixed Asset accounts.
- Complete monthly sub-ledger reconciliation – AP and AR.
- Prepare accounting records, including journal preparation and identifying discrepancies before finalising the monthly close process.
- Support the year-end audit.
- Support in improving current internal controls and implementing new procedures as the company grows.
- Assist the Divisional Controller with month-end reporting.
What you bring to the role
- Part Qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA, ACA, with at least 2 years of experience in a finance, Record to Report role
- A customer service focus with commitment to building professional, responsive relationships
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, strong experience operating internal controls
- Possess the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assimilate large amounts of information quickly
- Experience working for a complex, multinational organization and collaborating with colleagues internationally
- Familiar with Financial systems, Maconomy experience would be preferential
