Senior PTP Analyst

We are looking for a Senior PTP Analyst to join our growing finance team in Manchester. This is an important role responsible for promoting supplier, employee and key stakeholder engagement across the PTP function within the SSC. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards together with the provision of guidance and support to members of the team any others within the SSC  

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable Oversight
    • Oversee the processing and review of supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
    • Act as a pay run approver for all supply runs within Oracle across a variety of banking platforms.
    • Provision of support and advice to team members in the application of Oracle, FF and banking software across Citi, NatWest, Lloyds and HSBC.
  • Team & Process Leadership
    • Be a subject matter expert and provide guidance to PTP Analysts.
    • Drive process improvements and contribute to automation projects.
    • Manage escalated queries from the AP inbox and ensure resolution.
  • Vendor Management
    • Maintain accurate and compliant vendor records in line with GDPR and SOX requirements.
    • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage invoice exceptions and ensure strong working relationships.
  • Financial Reporting & Controls
    • Support month-end close processes, including AP reporting and accruals.
    • Analyze supplier account activity and provide reporting to business units.
    • Ensure full compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements.

 

What You Bring

  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes, and accounting principles.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with exposure to high-volume, multi-entity environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and tools such as Excel (can perform complex functions).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
