The Role

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will work with team members to deliver enhancements, automation, and integrations that refine processes and improve operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules and applications, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies/actions, and notifications.
  • Develop custom applications, integrations, and APIs using JavaScript, REST, SOAP, and ServiceNow development tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and provide scalable solutions aligned with our needs.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and testing to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects.
  • Maintain documentation for all developed features and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and coding standards.
  • Research and recommend platform improvements and new capabilities.

 

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture, and best practices.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow's proprietary development environment (e.g., Studio, Flow Designer).
  • Experience with core modules such as ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), CMDB, and Service Catalog.
  • Familiarity with integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator.
  • Experience with ITSM and ITIL processes.
  • Experience in stakeholder management at a senior level is necessary .
