RTR Analyst

The RTR Analyst will support the accurate month-end reporting for assigned entities. Working with the RTR Accountants to ensures that the reported numbers are accurate, created to deadline and following both the control framework and accounting policy requirements.

 

You will report to a Lead Divisional RTR Accountant based in Manchester, UK this is a global RTR Analyst role within the Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC). The team operate a Hybrid working arrangements are in place - 2 days in the office, 3 remotely.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accounting activities such as journal entries, bank and cash postings, intercompany recharges, general ledger / sub-ledger and account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, other account analyses and department closing activities and the submission of the results for consolidation

  • Complete all tasks (e.g.: posting of adjustments, accruals and other types of journal entries) following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), internal finance policies, external statutory regulations and the internal controls framework

  • Implement specific internal controls within accounting processes, such as regular bank reconciliations and other general accounting activities.

  • Provision of prompt and accurate responses to information requests from stakeholders e.g.: audit

     

What do you bring to the Role?

  • 2 years of managing general ledgers, banks/cash posting and reconciliation

  • Strong customer service focus with commitment to building professional, responsive, relationships.

  • Enthusiastic and pro-active approach; fostering collaborative working relationships in all situations.

  • Possess the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Able to assimilate large amounts of information quickly.
