
Commercial Junior Business Analyst

The role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join Inizio’s Commercial Finance team. Reporting directly to the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting commercial and strategic initiatives across the Group, with a particular focus on delivering high-quality, data-driven insights.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working hands-on with data, is comfortable spending significant time in Excel and Power BI, and takes pride in producing accurate, reliable outputs that senior stakeholders can depend on.

Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of a new enterprise reporting infrastructure by validating outputs, reconciling data discrepancies, and ensuring end-to-end data integrity.
- Support the development of robust performance metrics.
- Work with third-party data providers to support the integration of external market data into internal reporting structures.
- Assist in the development, harmonisation, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
- Support internal engagement and adoption of analytical tools across the Group.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align with business priorities.
- Provide project and coordination support.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Degree in a numerically focused discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong ability to manipulate, reconcile, and validate large, complex datasets.
- Highly methodical and detail-oriented with exceptional numerical accuracy.
- Comfortable spending significant time working independently with data.
Desirable
- Some knowledge of PowerBI, including report building and dashboards.
- Comfortable working with data and systems in a finance or commercial environment.
- Commercially aware, with an interest in understanding business performance drivers.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving systems and analytics landscape.
