Director Hub Commercialization Decision Support

Job Purpose/Overview:

Accountable for driving analytics initiatives for the organization, including innovating, building, and maintaining well-managed data solutions and capabilities to solve business problems.  Responsible for advancing the eminence of Propensity4 in the market through demonstrated expertise.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act and serves as the right-hand support of P4 Chief Methodologist, being the P4 subject-matter expert in Pharmaceutical Hub capabilities and across 2 of 4 pillars (Customer, Performance, Promotion, Engagement) and cross trained in remaining 2 of 4 pillars.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data from various platforms in order to develop disruptive commercialization decision support.
  • Supports the chief methodologist to devise P4 business strategy, as well as strategies for clients, providing solutions to our Hub clients.
  • Support shaping and ensuring execution of advanced marketing analytics deliverables using statistical modeling/data mining algorithms (Multivariate Regression, Logistic Regression, clustering algorithms, Decision Trees etc).
  • Leads innovation projects specific to marketing data analytics, advanced decision support analytics and Inizio’s use of machine learning and artificial intelligence for our Hub offerings.
  • Deep expertise in developing and executing predictive analytics to forecast patient adherence, churn, and HCP engagement.
  • Identify, communicate, and lead the resolution of data gaps that impede the fulfilment of operational reporting and oversight.
  • Develop and manage our partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Oversees execution of complex data analysis to develop insights and root causes for ineffectiveness of processes.
  • Implements solutions through team members to issues found in data analysis.
  • Support Chief Methodologist and be an agent in determining business areas where data analysis can drive growth.
  • Develops recommendations for improvement based on analysis.
  • Heads presentations to communicate analytical findings.
  • Act as the lead of our Pharmaceutical Hub analytics practice and primary interface to internal and external teams in the build out and delivery of hub solutions
  • Lead the delivery of services to clients including ensuring deadlines are met, planning is in place, and KPIs are identified and achieved.
  • Able to holistically manage and successfully deliver a suit of projects across a client or multiple clients
  • Translate P4 intellectual property into technology platforms/tools. Be a core team member in identifying technology partners and shaping development projects.
  • Influence P4’s long-term technology and operations strategies and approaches, through the introduction of new technologies, and being a mentor and coach to the analysts.

Technical Capabilities:

  • Understands of the Inizio Engage Specialist Areas with deep experience in Hub and how Hub impact commercialization.
  • Expertise regarding different types of predictive models, including linear regressions, logistic regressions, experience in segmentations is a plus.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with resounding abilities in connecting data and analytic techniques to related business questions
  • Expertise with advanced analytics tools and techniques such as SAS, R,  and Python.  
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBi, etc
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders.

 

Business development and client management 

  • Provide support in developing, coordinating, and implementing plans and research projects to improve and expand the organization's market position and to achieve growth and financial profitability.
  • Support business development objectives for Inizio Hub offerings.
  • As needed serve as contributor in collaboration with Inizio colleagues on joint client approaches, pitches, meetings, solutions, contributing to Hub wins.
  • Develop business and network contacts in support P4 objectives.
  • Educate Inizio Engage colleagues on the services/capabilities that P4 can provide to complement Inizio Engage services.

 

Key knowledge

  • Detailed understanding of the US pharma industry, and the external and internal factors which influence pharma decisions.
  • Deep understanding of payer coverage, benefit verification, prior authorizations, and co-pay programs.
  • Insight into field reimbursement and patient support program analytics.
  • Continuously educate team members on industry trends, innovations, and strategies regarding Hub, large healthcare data sets, and lead the P4 innovation to bring these trends to clients.
  • Understand the functions and systems within pharmaceutical and biotech industry and using data findings to support commercialization decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline. Advanced degree is required
  • 10-15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Analytics capabilities including payer analytics, pharma marketing analytics, commercial operations, or analytics consulting
  • 5-7 years of direct experience with pharma hub programs, especially in roles tied to Patient access analytics, Operational performance of patient support programs, or adherence and persistence modeling
  • 7+ years of recent, data integrating technologies experience or experience implementing vendor applications or working with healthcare systems (an asset)
  • A plus to have familiarity with Behavioral Health operations.
  • Proven subject matter expertise in digital transformation, data, marketing, and customer experience functions. 7+ years leading large data innovation in technology/SaaS companies and a confirmed ability to support Digital Transformation conversations with client executives.
  • Direct experience with project delivery and account development for healthcare accounts in professional services or agency environment
  • Demonstrated success leading medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations.
  • Expertise with managing machine Learning, Statistics, Regression and modern programming languages like SAS, Python, Scala, Spark, TensorFlow, R, Matlab and Java.
  • Expertise digital experience platforms and cloud & hybrid infrastructure (i.e., AWS, Azure).
  • Expertise with modern data architecture and visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik and Tableau.
  • Well-honed written, verbal and interpersonal skills with strong emotional IQ and “driver” mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams with balance of growth mindset and accountability.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation

$180,000 - $210,000 USD
