Production Designer

Manila, Philippines

We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for an experienced Production Designer to join our Creative Team.

 

You will be based in the Philippines working closely with our creative hubs in the USA and UK.

 

Role Summary

You will support in translating scientific communications into highly accurate and engaging design deliverables across a range of channels. You will have graphic design skills and be efficient across both Adobe and Microsoft products; with a strong focus on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop and PowerPoint.

 

You will have high attention to detail and be highly skilled in a range of production design outputs, including, but not limited to artworking, print, presentation design, video editing, e-learning, animation and interactive.

 

Key areas of responsibility

  • Development of a wide range of highly accurate and highly engaging design deliverables
  • Work with team members to interpret briefs and negotiate timelines when required
  • Build excellent relationships to ensure that we develop a one team approach
  • Support wider creative team with managing workload
  • Adhere to our processes to ensure we are as efficient as possible
  • Ensure that all our work adheres to branding guidelines
  • Working closely with team members to ensure the design meets the output requirements and is high quality
  • When required, review team members work to ensure it meets requirements and is high quality
  • Having regular contact with our account teams to confirm projects and negotiate timelines when required
  • Ensure you deliver to a consistently high standard, on time and within budget

 

Requirements

  • A strong appreciation for great design, with a well-developed eye for quality and effectiveness
  • Experienced; have in depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on Adobe InDesign and Illustrator (minimum 2 years’ experience).
  • Technical; In-depth knowledge of PowerPoint particularly advanced formatting tools, interactivity and animation
  • Solution focused; be able to easily adapt to the faced-paced nature of agency and client requirements
  • Organised; be able to manage multiple projects, take ownership to ensure they are all delivered on time, on brief and on budget
  • Accurate; A keen eye for accuracy in detail and design
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written. Ability to take an effective brief and understand requirements. The role will require regular contact with our account team colleagues. Our account team colleagues support us in understanding scientific data and messaging to ensure the work we produce is scientifically accurate. We must ensure we are adaptable, approachable and helpful at all times.
  • Team focused; lead by example, ensure the wider team are aligned on our goals and agency values
  • Driven: the strong desire to learn new skills across our offerings from video, interactive and presentations and more
  • Medical Communications; experience in the MedComms or Healthcare industry would be preferred, however is not essential
