Role Summary

At inKind, we partner with restaurant operators through innovative financing solutions designed to fuel growth in the hospitality industry. The B2B Account Recovery Associate supports inKind’s recovery function by helping monitor partner account health, track recovery activity, and manage the operational processes that support successful resolution of delinquent balances.

This role works closely with the Sr Manager, B2B Account Recovery and cross-functional partners to maintain accurate records, monitor payment activity, and ensure recovery workflows are executed smoothly.

The position is operational and detail-oriented, with responsibility for maintaining the systems, documentation, and follow-up processes that allow recovery strategies to be executed effectively across the partner portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with financial data and documentation, and interested in building experience in credit, recovery, or financial operations.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Support the monitoring and administration of inKind’s B2B recovery portfolio by maintaining accurate records of delinquent accounts, payment plans, settlements, and account activity
  • Track settlement agreements and payment plans, including following up on scheduled payments and identifying missed or delayed payments
  • Assist with preparation, filing, and maintenance of UCC-1 financing statements and related documentation in coordination with Legal
  • Monitor portfolio activity to help identify accounts showing signs of payment risk or operational issues and escalate concerns to the Senior Manager of B2B Account Recovery
  • Maintain organized documentation related to contracts, settlement agreements, payment histories, and recovery actions
  • Support internal reporting by updating CRM and financial systems with accurate account status, recovery progress, and partner communication notes
  • Coordinate internally with Legal, Finance, and Account Management teams to ensure recovery-related documentation and account updates are accurately reflected across systems
  • Assist in preparing internal reports and summaries related to recovery activity, portfolio risk trends, and payment performance
  • Provide operational support during recovery negotiations by preparing account documentation, financial summaries, and relevant partner information
  • Help maintain and improve recovery tracking systems, workflows, and documentation standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial operations, collections, receivables, credit administration, or a similar operational role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working with financial data, documentation, and payment records
  • Experience using CRM, financial, or data management systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Excel, accounting systems)
  • Ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, fintech, or financial services
  • Familiarity with credit, lending, receivables, or collections processes
  • Exposure to secured lending concepts or UCC filings
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth company environment

Work Environment

  • Primarily in-office role based in Austin, Texas, with an expectation of at least four (4) days per week in office
  • Occasional travel to restaurant and hospitality partner locations
  • Exposure to restaurant, hospitality, and office environments
  • Standard business hours with flexibility as required for partner negotiations

Salary

  • $60,000 – $70,000 DOE + Benefits
