GSRP Lunch Aide - Part-Time - SY 25-26
About the Team
The Part-Time Lunch Aide at Inkster Preparatory Academy in Inkster, MI, will ensure lunch is transported to and from the classroom at designated times. The Aide will help supervise students while eating to ensure that they are orderly, safe, and mannerly during mealtime, which may include both indoor and outdoor supervision. The Aide will work with students to learn appropriate lunchroom etiquette, good manners, cleaning up after themselves, and encouraging appropriate, positive intermingling of students.

About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities and qualities of the Lunch Aide include-
- Assure lunch carts are equipped with all food components and utensils.
- Assure lunch is transported to and from the lunchroom daily.
- Provide scheduled breaks for staff.
- Provide scheduled planning time for staff.
- Assist with cleaning classroom/toys as necessary.
- Supporting children and teachers as needed.
- Practice health & safety standards.
- Reports to program director.
About You:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups and maintain an effective working environment
- Must pass criminal background checks
