Overview of the role
InMobi is looking for a highly experienced, strategic business leader with a proven track record in building and scaling direct client partnerships at the enterprise level. In this critical leadership role, you will serve as a key driver of revenue growth for the Global Demand team, shaping InMobi’s positioning and engagement strategy across top-tier global brands.
This role would report to the VP, Client Development - Global. In this role, you will lead direct engagement efforts with C-level and senior client stakeholders across prioritised verticals (CPG, Retail, Pharma, and Finance), crafting tailored partnership strategies and guiding cross-functional teams to execute flawlessly. Your expertise will inform InMobi’s vertical strategy, ensuring our solutions are future-ready and market-leading.
This is a high-visibility role designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of client leadership, vertical expertise, innovation, and business growth.
*This role is onsite in our Singapore office and is not open to remote locations. Some travel is required to visit clients.
The impact you’ll make
Vertical Strategy & Industry Leadership
- Develop a comprehensive vertical strategy across CPG, Retail, and Pharma and other key sectors.
- Identify and capitalise on emerging industry trends through advanced research, executive engagement, and strategic analysis.
- Influence product, marketing, and go-to-market strategies by bringing actionable insights back to the broader organization.
Enterprise Client Leadership
- Build and own senior-most relationships with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 brands.
- Lead executive-level conversations, uncover client pain points, and translate business needs into high-impact media and technology solutions.
- Represent InMobi at key client events, advisory boards, and industry forums as a vertical thought leader.
Strategic Business Development
- Architect and drive global account planning, ensuring holistic coverage across brand, commerce, media, and innovation teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Marketing) to design and deliver best-in-class, cross-functional client solutions.
- Expand revenue potential by identifying new partnership models, co-innovation opportunities, and long-term growth programs.
Operational Excellence & Performance Management
- Define success pathways and operational frameworks for client partnerships.
- Proactively remove operational roadblocks, ensuring flawless execution of strategic initiatives.
Global Demand Team Leadership
- Build an internal culture that mirrors how we want to be perceived externally: smart, strategic, agile, and deeply client-focused.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the Global Demand team’s priorities and achievements in executive leadership meetings and planning forums.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, providing market intelligence, client insights, and proactive recommendations to evolve InMobi’s go-to-market approach.
The experience we need
- 10+ years of experience in digital sales, strategic partnerships, corporate strategy, or business development, with direct brand engagement at the enterprise level.
- Deep domain expertise in CPG, Retail, and/or Pharma industries; direct experience or consultative exposure preferred.
- Track record of leading complex negotiations, structuring high-value deals, and scaling strategic programs.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence and engage senior leadership across internal and external organizations.
- Expertise in marketing analytics, media performance metrics, and data-driven storytelling.
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with the ability to align vertical-specific objectives with broader business priorities.
- Comfort operating in dynamic, high-growth, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
- Strong team leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and market leadership.
- A sense of humor, humility, and team-first mentality.
- BA/BS degree required; MBA or Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
