Overview

InMobi Exchange (IX) is one of the world’s largest mobile ad exchanges, serving tens of thousands of apps and more than 100 billion impressions each month. We are now expanding into one of the fastest-growing sectors in digital advertising by building a scaled commerce and retail media exchange. We are looking for a senior product leader who can define this vision end-to-end and turn it into a market-shaping business.

As the Director, Product Management, Commerce Exchange, you will own the strategy and execution for IX’s commerce products across retailers, merchants, and retail media networks. Your remit includes buy-side capabilities, commerce and audience data integrations, attribution and measurement solutions, and the acquisition and activation of high-intent omnichannel supply. You will define how IX becomes the most performant and measurable environment for commerce advertisers across the full funnel.

You will partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to build a differentiated commerce exchange anchored in performance, transparency, and measurable outcomes. Your depth in ad tech and retail media and your ability to lead through complexity will directly shape IX’s next chapter of growth.

This role offers significant visibility and impact in product leadership. You will report to the VP of Product for IX and work in close alignment with product marketing, measurement, and data partnership teams.

This role is in-person in either San Mateo, CA or New York, NY. Quarterly travel to Bangalore, India is required.


The impact you’ll make

Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for Commerce Exchange and build IX’s next scaled growth engine.

Translate the needs of retailers, merchants, and retail media networks into clear product requirements that drive measurable outcomes.

Lead development of data, targeting, bidding, and measurement capabilities that strengthen IX’s position in commerce advertising.

Expand and activate omnichannel supply across app and web environments while ensuring strong attribution, optimization, and addressability.

Work with engineering and design to deliver high-quality products with predictable and efficient execution.

Continuously analyze marketplace signals, advertiser performance, and commerce data to uncover opportunities for expansion and differentiation.


The experience we need

7 plus years of product management experience in advertising technology or retail media with a strong record of bringing commerce-driven products to market.

Deep understanding of programmatic marketplaces, retail media, attribution frameworks, data integrations, and addressability solutions.

Strong familiarity with DSPs and commerce-focused buyers, including retailers, merchants, and retail media networks.

A high ownership mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in fast-moving environments.

Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams around a unified strategy.

BA or BS in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. An MBA or an MS is a plus.

Our compensation philosophy enables us to provide competitive salary that drives high performance while balancing business needs and pay parity. We determine compensation based on a wide variety of factors including role, nature of experience, skills and location. 

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $218,365 USD to $311,950 USD (min to max of base salary pay range). This salary range is in applicable for our offices located in California and New York*.  In addition, an InMobian may also receive variable pay in the form of quarterly variable bonus / sales incentive, as deemed per policy in addition to fixed compensation.

*Our ranges may vary based on final location / region / or fully remote roles in accordance to the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country. 

In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units. We believe that our employees/personnel should have the ability to own a part of the entity they are a part of. Therefore, the entity employing you may elect to provide such stocks to you. Ownership of stock aids us to treat our employer company as our own and base our decisions on such a company’s best interest at heart.
