We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Test Application Development Engineer with a strong background in developing embedded applications using Embedded C for ARM architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing and validating peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, SDIO, and JTAG, as well as a solid understanding of testing concepts and methodologies. This role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of our embedded software through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embedded Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using Embedded C for ARM processors.
  • Peripheral Testing: Develop and execute test plans and procedures for peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, SDIO, and JTAG to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in the embedded software and hardware interfaces.
  • System Validation: Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to validate system-level functionality and performance.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve testing processes and product quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development and testing.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C and experience with ARM processor architectures.
  • Peripheral Expertise: Hands-on experience with testing peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, SDIO, and JTAG.
  • Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks for embedded systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automation Experience: Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Understanding of hardware schematics and the ability to read and interpret datasheets.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in embedded systems, software testing, or quality assurance.
