GTM Ops

About the Role
We’re looking for an Associate-BizOps who will work closely with our amazingly talented M&A, R&D teams and Executive leaders in implementing inorganic and organic growth initiatives. Your partners will be some of the world's most talented engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales teams, whom you will work closely playing a pivotal advisory role across the entire value creation chain - from value identification, to value creation and value realization.
A Day in the Life
- Identify M&A and partnership opportunities by analyzing product gaps and strategic synergies.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to guide decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and deal readiness.
- Build financial models and valuations to evaluate deal feasibility and ROI.
- Develop and manage post-deal integration plans, aligning operations, products, and culture.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless execution of M&A activities.
- Track and report deal performance, integration progress, and key metrics to leadership.
- Leverage the Integration Management playbook to structure and plan integrations for upcoming acquisitions.
- Analyze the acquired company’s business operations, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare a comprehensive Day 1 integration plan to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Design a communication plan for all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and communities.
- Assess historical and forecasted financial performance of both companies to predict post-merger performance.
- Establish metrics, OKRs, and a cadence for tracking and measuring success post-acquisition.
- Manage cross-functional interdependencies, ensuring tasks are prioritized and executed in the right sequence.
- Identify integration risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Define the integration strategy, set guiding principles, and champion the program vision.
- Drive OKR-based business reporting and monitor key initiatives during integration.
- Document lessons learned and best practices to enhance future acquisition process
What You Need
- Experience in end-to-end M&A/PE transaction lifecycle.
- Experience in financial modelling, company analysis, industry research, and competitive benchmarking.
- Superior research skills and resourcefulness to draw logical conclusions with often limited/ imperfect information
- High energy, Self Starter
- MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic / professional experience
- Experience working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals
- Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems and with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
- Ability to communicate effectively, with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work
- Ability to influence corporate opinion and key stakeholders and to make timely decisions
- Ability to understand the big picture, with an eye for detail
- Organizational knowledge, motivational skills and ability to quickly prioritize
- A background in finance and understanding of the business and functional areas can be extremely helpful
- Global and experience with US based business experience preferred
- Data visualization skills are also preferred.
