About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Vice President - Sales professional to lead the growth of Innovaccer’s Contract Modeling, Financial Analytics, and Actuarial Intelligence solutions within our existing customer base. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive the adoption of these solutions among providers—including health systems, ACOs, and independent practice associations (IPAs), and  Payers. Since these are Innovaccer’s current customers and are already leveraging our solutions in other areas,  the key success metric for this role will be the ability to effectively cross-sell and upsell this new portfolio.

The AVP - Sales will play a pivotal role in expanding Innovaccer’s footprint, creating deeper, more “sticky” customer relationships, and driving broader adoption of our offerings. By capitalizing on Innovaccer’s established presence, this role will focus on transitioning from the “Land” phase to the “Expand” phase, ensuring customers unlock additional value through our new solutions.

This role will work closely with the existing AVP’s/ CSDs of Innovacer and is an excellent opportunity to broaden the strategic footprint with Innovaccer existing customers with target personas like CFO, CSO, Chief Growth Officer and other Finance and Strategy Leaders within  Provider and Payers.

A Day in the Life

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans targeting healthcare organizations, including hospitals, ACOs, and health systems, with a focus on key personas and value-driven outreach.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to position solutions effectively and craft messaging that highlights financial and clinical value.
    • Collaborate with Customer Success AVP, RVP’s and CSD’s to plan Net retention of 135%+ and Gross Retention of 95%+ from a customer  portfolio of $30 - 60 Mn annual recurring revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior executives and operational leaders to influence buying decisions.
    • Partner with the Customer Success team to ensure customer goals are met and identify opportunities for growth and performance improvement.
  • Position Financial Analytics, Actuarial Intelligence and Benchmarking Solutions:
    • Position solutions as enablers of value-based care by leveraging predictive analytics, risk stratification, and data-driven insights.
    • Provide expertise on population health management and cost containment strategies, supporting clients in achieving reimbursement and care quality objectives.
  • Deal Negotiation and Progression:
    • Lead high-value negotiations and complex sales cycles, ensuring deals are structured for measurable outcomes and mutual long-term success.
    • Engage cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and product, to drive deal execution efficiently.

 What You Need

  • 10+ years of professional experience in the Healthcare industry,  preferably in Actuarial/ Consulting/ Financial Modeling roles
  • Good understanding of  VBC Provider Contracting and Network Development
  • Well-versed with contract arrangements Like MSSP and Shared Services Model
  • Knowledge of P4P and Episodes of Care
  • Actuarial Background in Healthcare is desirable
  • Knowledge of Sales of Provider and Plan Performance Analytics Solutions
  • Knowledge of Sales of Provider and Payer Benchmarking Solutions
  • Experience in management consulting or marketing is a plus
  • Actuarial science background will be highly desirable
  • Sales / Customer Success / Account management experience in the Provider and Payer market with focus on selling Analytics, contract Modeling, Financial Benchmark kind of solutions, and services
