About the team & Opportunity:

innovaTel is looking for both full and part-time Psychiatrists, who are passionate about our mission of delivering speed to quality mental health care for all. This is a fully remote telehealth position working with patients in an Outpatient Community Mental Health Center Setting. We provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team and want our clinicians to be able to focus on what’s most important - patient care. Come join our exceptional team!

Accountabilities:

  • Provide effective management of psychiatric care including initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management reviews in accordance with established clinical guidelines 
  • Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
  • Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care
  • Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the on-site clinical team
  • Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by compliance standards
  • Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Doctorate (MD / DO) Required
  • Board Certification
  • Active medical state license in good standing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
  • Experienced in caring for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders
  • Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
