Position Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled Mulesoft Architect who is not only adept at designing and architecting robust solutions but is also eager to roll up their sleeves and write code. As an integral member of our team, you will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to create high-performing, scalable integrations that seamlessly connect applications, data, and devices. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on implementer, comfortable leading architectural discussions as well as actively coding solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Solution Architecture & Design 

• Design end-to-end integration solutions using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform. 

• Develop detailed architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and best practices for integration across complex environments. 

• Hands-On Development 

• Write high-quality code, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed. 

• Build reusable APIs, connectors, and services using Mulesoft’s development tools. 

• Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and resolve technical roadblocks. 

• Technical Leadership 

• Provide guidance to developers and junior architects on coding standards, best practices, and architecture principles. 

• Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to build internal Mulesoft capabilities. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work closely with clients, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and map integration needs. 

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment of Mulesoft solutions. 

• Strategic Advisory 

• Engage with clients and internal leadership to identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and shape long-term integration strategies. 

• Stay current with evolving Mulesoft features, third-party integration capabilities, and industry trends. 

 

Required Qualifications 

• Education & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• 6+ years of overall experience in integration architecture, design, and implementation. 

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 3 and/or Mule 4). 

• Technical Expertise 

• Proficiency in Mulesoft products (Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange, etc.). 

• Proficient in Dataweave transformation language 

• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, API-led connectivity principles, data transformations, and RAML/OAS specifications. 

• Strong understanding of integration patterns (event-driven, synchronous/asynchronous messaging, batch processing). 

• Solid background in Java development, including JUnit or other testing frameworks. 

• Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). 

• Soft Skills & Abilities 

• Proven ability to lead discussions on architecture and high-level design while also diving into the code when necessary. 

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Team-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Mulesoft Certified Developer and/or Mulesoft Certified Architect certifications. 

• Experience in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 

• Familiarity with other integration platforms or iPaaS solutions. 

• Experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
