Our Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) are on the front lines—delivering solutions, shaping integrations, and accelerating time-to-value. This role sits at the intersection of field execution, product feedback, and engineering ownership.

What You’ll Do

Own Customer-Facing Technical Delivery

  • Work directly with customer teams to scope, deploy, and refine automation workflows

  • Troubleshoot and unblock integration issues during onboarding and production rollout

  • Serve as the primary technical point-of-contact for customers during active deployments

Build & Extend the Platform

  • Implement full-stack solutions in Python, TypeScript, and SQL to support unique customer needs

  • Contribute production-grade code that adapts or extends Inorsa’s core product

  • Identify reusable patterns, tools, and internal improvements from fieldwork

Drive Adoption and Internal Feedback Loops

  • Define success metrics and track customer progress toward value realization

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure delivery aligns with evolving needs

  • Translate customer pain points into actionable product feedback

What You Bring

Experience & Background

  • 4–6 years of software engineering, technical implementation, or solutions engineering experience

  • Direct customer-facing interaction in technical deployments

  • Strong programming proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar

  • Experience with enterprise data, distributed systems, or infrastructure-heavy platforms

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time

Mindset & Skills

  • Operates well in ambiguity; can navigate unclear specs and partial information
  • Clear communicator who bridges engineering and non-technical stakeholders

  • High ownership mentality with a drive to deliver measurable results fast

Bonus

  • Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or equivalent field-engineering role

  • Familiarity with AI/ML systems, infrastructure/telecom workflows, or complex SaaS deployments

  • Comfort working across cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
