
Marketing Communications Manager
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's brand, content, and communications strategy across all channels. This includes brand management, content and collateral development, digital and social media, public and corporate communications, campaign execution, and event and tradeshow marketing, ensuring consistent, compelling, and compliant messaging to customers, partners, and internal audiences.
Brand Ownership and Stewardship
- Own and steward the corporate and product brand, ensuring a consistent identity and voice across all channels.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and templates, enabling teams to apply them consistently.
Content and Collateral Development
- Create and manage marketing content and collateral, including brochures, sell sheets, presentations, case studies, and videos, that support the brand and equip the sales team.
- Oversee the content and editorial calendar and creative production, collaborating with product marketing, clinical, and sales teams to source and review materials.
Messaging and Copywriting
- Translate product value propositions into clear, compelling copy across all communications, working in partnership with product marketing.
- Tailor messaging to key audiences, including healthcare professionals (HCPs), hospital administrators, value analysis committees (VACs), patients, and internal teams.
Campaigns and Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, and print channels to build brand awareness and support demand generation.
- Manage the company website, SEO/SEM strategies, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms.
Public Relations and Corporate Communications
- Manage public and media relations, including press releases, media outreach, and award submissions.
- Lead internal and corporate communications to keep employees and stakeholders informed and aligned.
Events and Tradeshows
- Plan and execute tradeshows, conferences, and events, including booth presence, materials, sponsorships, and peer-to-peer programs.
Metrics and Optimization
- Track campaign, web, and channel performance metrics, including engagement, reach, traffic, and conversion rates.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of marketing communications experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or a related healthcare field ·
- Demonstrated success developing brand, content, and communications programs across digital and traditional channels
- Strong understanding of healthcare audiences and stakeholders (HCPs, hospitals, and patients)
- Ability to translate clinical and technical information into clear, customer-centric copy and content
- Experience developing promotional materials within FDA/regulatory and MLR review guidelines
- Proficiency in productivity applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Slack) and familiarity with design/creative tools
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working and managing relationships with external agencies and contractors
- Adept at data-driven marketing and decision making
Preferred:
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline
- Experience with Class II/III medical devices
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Veeva, etc.)
- Familiarity with use of social media and digital tools for promotional activities (LinkedIn, SEO/SEM)
- Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and marketing/project management automation
- Background in a specific therapeutic area or procedure relevant to our portfolio (e.g., cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, thrombectomy)
Compensation Range
$150,000 - $175,000 USD
