About this role

We are looking for a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to join our Insurance department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full product implementation lifecycle, ensuring that insurance products are configured and ultimately brought to our customers efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will ensure that the technical and operational aspects of insurance product delivery meet both internal and external expectations. Striving to make our products & processes better and better each step of the way. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including insurance product development, product, tech, and Customer Operations, to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing support. Get ready to bring innovative products to our customers from scratch!

Key Responsibilities

Product Implementation:

  • Implementation & configuration - Full ownership of the insurance product implementation process, starting during the product development phase all the ways through configuration to post-launch support. Covering the entire spectrum of customer touchpoints.
  • Specification & validation - Ensure all specifications and acceptance criteria are defined, documented, and met before deployment, ensuring the highest level of product quality.
  • Planning & project management - Maintain detailed implementation schedules to ensure all project phases are completed on time and to specification. Flagging & resolving any issues in the process.
  • Stakeholder management - Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth customer experience. Making our customer experience and processes better every time. 

Support & Maintenance:

  • Lead the configuration and maintenance of renewal processes, ensuring smooth transitions between policy terms and accurate updates to product settings.
  • Manage the configuration of mid-term adjustments (MTA), ensuring correct implementation of changes to policies mid-term and alignment with customer and business expectations.

What do you need

Must have:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an insurtech company, MGA, broker, or an insurance company with a focus on technology.
  • University degree in Economics, Business, Law, or a related field. 
  • Fluency in French and English is essential.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with business development, sales, and product teams to achieve customer success.
  • Exceptional stakeholder, engagement and project management skills.
  • Great eye for detail and ability to grasp & simplify complex topics quickly.

Nice-to-Have:

  • A Master’s degree or PhD in a related field
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working with an insurtech company.
