The Role
As the Sr. Sales Manager at Inspira Education Group, you will lead our direct-to-consumer sales initiatives nationwide. We are seeking a leader with a strong understanding of the education sector who can develop effective, customer-focused sales processes that support Inspira's growth goals. Your key responsibilities include creating and executing a sales strategy targeted at students and their families while guiding a high-performing sales team to achieve exceptional results. Additionally, you will work closely with internal teams, i.e. Marketing, Recruiting, and Product, to enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies. Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the D2C sales strategy, identifying key growth opportunities and establishing a scalable process to drive new customer acquisition
- Establish a scalable sales infrastructure, you will monitor performance metrics and drive the achievement of key sales targets. Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Develop and ensure execution of campaigns that enable the successful launch of new programs and existing programs within the Inspira portfolio, collaborating with the marketing team to drive engagement and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, pipeline development, customer lifetime value) and optimize performance using data-driven insights
- Establish a comprehensive strategy for territory planning and goal setting that aligns with growth objectives and program roadmap to drive the achievement of targets
- Develop and implement training programs and sales playbooks to ensure consistency and excellence across all sales interactions
- Manage the sales budget, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure sustained growth and efficiency
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in the education industry or related fields, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing high-performing sales teams, preferably in a remote environment
- At least 2 years of experience working in a direct-to-customer sales motion, with a track record of exceeding revenue and customer acquisition targets
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals independently
- Excellent knowledge of CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and sales automation tools
- Data-centric mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of the sales process
- High-level communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive alignment with key stakeholders
- A passion for education and a customer-centric approach to sales
