Position Summary

The Medical Education Associate plays a critical role in the planning, execution, measurement, and continuous optimization of healthcare professional (HCP) education programs that support the safe and effective adoption of Inspire therapies. This role serves as a key operational and program lead across Advanced Practice Provider (APP) education, national webinar strategy, Navigator program development, and emerging Medical Education initiatives.

The Associate partners cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, and field teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and scalable learning experiences. This individual demonstrates strong ownership of program execution, data analytics, platform optimization, and process improvement while contributing to the evolution and operational excellence of the Medical Education function.

Key Responsibilities

APP Program Strategy, Execution & Logistics

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for APP education programs (Phase 1, Phase 2, and Provider of Excellence), ensuring seamless execution and high-quality learner experiences
  • Monitor and manage APP registration through Groupize, including tracking stay durations and partnering with internal stakeholders on hotel accommodations
  • Source, secure, and manage shuttle transportation vendors; build detailed transportation plans months in advance to ensure reliable attendee movement between program venues
  • Collaborate with hotel event staff and internal partners to plan room configurations, meal functions, dietary accommodations, and detailed program flow
  • Maintain comprehensive attendance tracking and certification timelines across APP programs; present participation insights and trends during Medical Education team meetings
  • Lead on-site program execution activities, including welcome dinner setup, breakout room coordination, and real-time troubleshooting
  • Independently manage and facilitate the Inspire VR engagement station to enhance attendee experience and program interactivity
  • Support pre-program readiness activities including HQ setup and materials preparation

Webinar Strategy, Platform Ownership & Execution

  • Own the full lifecycle of Medical Education webinar programs using Cvent’s/Groupize webinar platforms, including program setup, website creation, scheduling, and live session management
  • Serve as internal subject matter resource for Cvent and Groupize webinar functionality; train peers and faculty on platform best practices and usage
  • Coordinate faculty participation in partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and relevant educational programming
  • Serve as webinar host or co-host, monitoring live session flow, attendee engagement, and technical performance
  • Validate participant credentials (NPI/physician ID) to maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Track and report webinar attendance, engagement metrics, and performance trends
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify emerging obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) education topics and ensure content relevance
  • Maintain and continuously improve webinar processes, templates, and operational workflows

Data Analytics, Outcomes Measurement & Reporting

  • Design, build, and manage structured pre- and post-program assessment surveys (quiz-based) to measure learner comprehension and knowledge lift across APP programs, Navigator programs, and webinars
  • Analyze assessment score differentials and percentage-based growth metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify content gaps
  • Develop and maintain structured dashboards and tracking tools within Medical Education data repositories
  • Conduct post-program and six-month follow-up survey analysis to identify engagement patterns, provider readiness trends, and program impact
  • Partner with field representatives to monitor APP advancement, independence milestones, and ongoing education needs
  • Deliver actionable, data-driven insights to Medical Education leadership to support continuous program optimization and strategic decision-making
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across Medical Education reporting systems

Educational Content Development & Learner Engagement

  • Design and implement interactive learning tools (e.g., ABCDs Framework Quiz) to reinforce key clinical concepts including AHI, BMI, CPAP, DISE, and sleep study interpretation
  • Collaborate with Medical Marketing to develop engaging pre-work materials and learner preparation content
  • Partner with provider faculty to ensure educational accuracy, clarity, and clinical relevance of materials
  • Work with Care Pathway Specialists to align content with Inspire’s mission and provider education goals
  • Develop personalized attendee materials including name badges, name tents, folders, and engagement tools
  • Introduce and evaluate new engagement strategies (e.g., icebreaker cards, VR experiences) to enhance learner participation
  • Continuously assess and refine education delivery approaches based on learner feedback and performance data

Cross-Functional Partnership & Enablement

  • Partner with field representatives to gather qualitative and quantitative program feedback and identify improvement opportunities
  • Incorporate field insights into Medical Education materials, onboarding content, and program enhancements
  • Develop and maintain Medical Education onboarding slide decks and resource guides for new hires
  • Research and curate Showpad resources, webinars, and digital tools to support education promotion
  • Build program-specific materials outlining objectives, target audiences, and expected outcomes
  • Create visual flowcharts, timelines, and process maps to improve internal understanding of program workflows
  • Align all Medical Education materials with organizational priorities and brand standards

 

Budget Management & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain and optimize Medical Education budget tracking tools, ensuring alignment with program activity and forecasts
  • Update and refine financial models to ensure accurate data integration and reporting consistency
  • Support budget planning, monitoring, and reconciliation activities across MedEd programs
  • Design and implement process flowcharts and operational frameworks to improve team efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve program scalability
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the Medical Education portfolio as needed

Expanded & Emerging Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and launch of scalable Navigator programs for Sleep and ENT providers, including program design, cross-functional alignment, and execution planning
  • Lead execution of local peer‑to‑peer programs during coverage periods by overseeing end‑to‑end program logistics, coordinating with field, speakers, and vendors, and ensuring consistent execution aligned with strategic objectives and coverage needs.
  • Support and expand regional APP education programming
  • Travel to key conferences and Medical Education events as needed
  • Partner with leadership to support growth and brand development of Inspire Institute offerings

Assume increasing ownership of Medical Education operational infrastructure and program strategy

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.   

Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 USD
