About the Role  

The Field Training & Education Manager develops and executes field education strategies that strengthen commercial capabilities, accelerate referral pipeline growth, and improve field execution. This role serves as the dedicated capability-development lead for the Therapy Development Representative (TDR) organization, owning onboarding, certification, advanced curriculum, referral-development training, ecosystem engagement, and field reinforcement. 

The manager translates business priorities, including cardiovascular and PCP engagement, reimbursement, competitive strategy, referral development, and AI-enabled workflows, into practical learning experiences, playbooks, tools, and coaching resources. The role also leads continuing education for tenured field employees, ensuring ongoing skill development and application beyond formal training. 

Success requires expertise in commercial effectiveness, ecosystem development, field execution, and adult learning, coupled with the ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging, actionable programs. The individual must collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Outcomes, Reimbursement, and other cross-functional teams to align learning solutions with business priorities.

Position Responsibilities 

 - Designs, develops, and delivers field education programs using adult learning principles to drive capability development and business performance. 

 - Owns onboarding, certification, advanced curriculum, and continuing education for the Therapy Development Representative (TDR) organization. 

 - Creates scalable learning experiences, playbooks, tools, and resources that support referral generation, ecosystem development, and field execution.

 - Translates strategic priorities, including cardiovascular engagement, PCP partnerships, reimbursement, competitive differentiation, and AI-enabled workflows, into practical training and coaching solutions. 

 - Leads content development and program delivery across instructor-led, virtual, digital, and field-based learning formats. 

 - Partners with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Outcomes, Reimbursement, and other stakeholders to align learning strategies with business objectives and field needs. 

 - Establishes and manages field reinforcement initiatives, including microlearning, skill campaigns, best-practice sharing, manager coaching resources, and post-training application activities. 

 - Evaluates learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, adoption metrics, and business impact measures, continuously improving programs and resources. 

 - Identifies, validates, and scales field best practices to improve consistency, productivity, and commercial execution. 

 - Leads cross-functional projects and influences stakeholders to drive alignment from strategy through field execution. 

 - Supports the development of team members and contributes to a collaborative, high-trust, team-first culture. 

 - Travels up to 50%, based on business needs and where employee is located

Basic Qualifications 

 - Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. 

 - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

 - At least 2 years of Inspire sales experience. 

 - Demonstrated proficiency with standard and custom software programs (MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, Power BI, LMS, etc.). 

 - Experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies. 

 - Strong background in content development and execution of training strategies. 

 - Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with experience leading training sessions. 

 - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. 

 - Strong collaboration and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset. 

 - Ability to problem-solve and adapt training strategies to changing business needs. 

 - A positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and commitment to teamwork are essential to success in this role, as we work together to support each other and drive shared outcomes.

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.   

Salary

$131,000 - $170,000 USD
