About the role
The Head of People is a hands-on role responsible for leading our People strategy and initiatives, fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and professional growth, while at the same time aligning with Inspiren’s goals and objectives. This role involves overseeing all People functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compensation and benefits.
What you’ll do
- Own all aspects of People Operations throughout the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding through to engagement and development.
- Contribute to company culture development as a leader within the organization committed to creating an exceptional work environment and experience for team members.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute People strategies that support business objectives.
- Drive operational effectiveness as a best in class manager, mentor and coach to the entire leadership team.
- Own performance review and talent development processes and roll out new people programs around engagement, retention, and development.
- Assist with the evaluation, selection, and administration of company benefit programs.
- Lead recruiting processes for open roles including managing external recruiters and job sites.
- Be the preliminary point of contact for employee relations and escalations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that support the organization's goals and promote a positive work environment.

- Excellent organization and prioritization skills: You’ll be managing all recruiting and people programs throughout the employee lifecycle
- Passion for mentorship: You’ll not only roll out and manage talent development programs, but also serve as a coach and mentor to the leadership team
- Proactive: You’ll engage with team members to understand the employee experience and you’ll surface and solution suggestions, concerns, and insights
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in HR, Talent, and People Operations roles with at least 3 years in a management capacity
- Experience in a fast growing, tech-focused organization
- Experience building people programs from 0 to 1 and and scaling initiatives across the employee lifecycle
- Experience managing talent pipelines and evaluating prospective hires
- Experience driving effective team building culture initiatives, implementing social and professional activities
- This role is remote, but are looking for someone based on the East Coast with a preference for a location commutable to NYC
Details
- The targeted annual salary range for this role is $225,000 to $250,000 plus equity and benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
