About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to help build, update, and maintain software on our IoT AI Camera system.  You will drive innovation, ensure the integration of cutting-edge technologies, and deliver software that meets the highest standards of quality and performance across the lifecycle of all of Inspiren’s devices and platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and product teams to understand business challenges and develop robust technical solutions.
  • Design, Write, Debug, Maintain, and Improve software running on the Inspiren AUGi.
  • Integrate the AUGi with both Inspiren’s cloud and other cloud services.
  • Analyze software features for performance and make data-driven development decisions.

About You

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related engineering field.

Experience: 5+ years of full stack or backend development experience

  • Experience writing integration and E2E tests.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to address problems in real-world settings
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a team, with excellent skills-sharing capabilities.

Technical Expertise:

    • Programming Proficiency: Expertise Python and / or C or C++
    • AI Frameworks:  Expertise in Pytorch or Tensorflow AI Training and inference..
    • Video Infrastructure:  Expertise in GStreamer, WebRTC or other video frameworks.
    • Databases: Experience with PostgresSQL (or other relational databases) and NoSQL dbs like DynamoDB.
    • Security Principles: Understanding of embedded security practices and encryption methodologies.
    • Development Processes: Well-versed in the classic TDD development practices
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
    • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.
    • Start-up experience is a plus.

Details

  • The annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$170,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision) 
  • Flexible PTO
  • Location: Remote, US
