About the Role

As a Director of Implementation, you’ll lead the team responsible for launching our solutions at client sites. This player-coach role requires someone who’s just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves to manage complex implementations as they are mentoring a growing team. You’ll own the full lifecycle of implementation - from supporting pre-sale to go-live and transition to support - ensuring our clients have a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience. In parallel, you will work to build scalable, repeatable processes that enable us to grow quickly without compromising quality. 

In this highly visible role, you’ll be interfacing frequently with client end-users and key stakeholders, and collaborating closely across internal teams including Sales, Client Success, Product, Engineering, Support, and our leadership team. This role requires a client-centric mindset, operational discipline, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery. 
This role reports to the Head of Deployment Operations and may require travel up to 80% to support client launches, relationship management, and internal planning. 

 What you’ll do 

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead and mentor a team of Implementation Managers, while personally overseeing client projects.
    • Design and optimize scalable processes, templates, and playbooks to improve efficiency and consistency across all implementations.
    • Partner cross-functionally with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful client onboarding.
    • Analyze implementation performance metrics and client feedback to continuously improve team performance and customer experience.
    • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and developing top implementation talent.
    • Promote a culture of ownership, excellence, and customer-first thinking across all implementation activities.
  • Execution & Ownership
    • Lead complex or high-value client implementations from kickoff to go-live.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact during implementation for key accounts, managing timelines, risks, and communications.
    • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure timely delivery and resolution of technical and operational blockers.
    • Own documentation and wrap-up of key launch deliverables

About you 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Health Tech background
  • Previous experience leading teams within a hyper-growth, VC backed health tech company
  • 5+ years of health care management experience Implementation, Project Management, or Operations role
  • Proven experience in managing the implementation of hardware and software solutions, ideally within the health-tech or high-tech sector
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. PMP certification is strongly preferred
  • Know-how of lean tools/methodologies
  • Previous experience in defining best practices, building internal play books, implementing new processes, and maximizing use of internal tools
  • Growth focused with strong analytical and relational skills
  • Ability to promote and encourage cross collaboration among various internal teams
  • Demonstrated change agent with the ability to motivate teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive problem solver, self motivated, takes accountability
  • Ability to travel up to 80%, on short notice, and as needed for customer engagements

Details

  • The annual salary for this role is between $175,000-$190,000 + Equity & Benefits
  • Flexible PTO
