Our Recruiting team is at the heart of who we are and what we’re building as a company. As a Contract Recruiter, you’ll be an all rounder, working across both our GTM and EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) organizations to find world-changing talent. It will be your responsibility to source, evaluate, and close outstanding candidates across a diverse range of technical and commercial roles. You will be maniacal about finding the best talent and bringing it to Instabase, thriving in an environment that is fast-paced and highly execution-focused.
What you’ll do
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for software engineering, technical roles, and GTM functions (Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success), ensuring a smooth and bespoke candidate experience.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with EPD and GTM leadership to develop a deep understanding of hiring needs, quickly assessing priorities and determining ideal candidate profiles.
- Pipeline Velocity: Independently build robust, high-quality candidate pipelines through various channels, including passive sourcing, networking, and referrals, with an emphasis on rapid sourcing.
- Inclusive Recruiting: Focus on inclusive recruiting practices and diverse sourcing strategies to ensure we are reaching the best talent in the market.
- Process Improvement: Help improve our recruiting process, documentation, tooling, and talent market intelligence to turn startup ambiguity into a well-defined machine.
- Closing & Influence: Identify candidate closing strategies and proactively coach candidates through the entire process, while influencing leadership decision-making.
About you
- Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a proven ability to recruit top-tier Software Engineering talent as well as GTM leadership (Sales, SE, CS) within the enterprise software and/or SaaS industry.
- Startup DNA: Past experience and success building teams at a venture-backed enterprise SaaS company; you are comfortable working within the ambiguity of a small, growing startup.
- Sourcing Prowess: Strong track record in sourcing qualified candidates, market mapping, and navigating high-velocity recruiting in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: A passion for story-telling and a knack for explaining complex technical and business concepts in a clear, succinct, and concrete way.
- Execution-Oriented: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands and aggressive hiring goals.
- Relationship Builder: A collaborative communicator who can build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike, with the ability to push back or influence change when needed.
Compensation and Terms
- Pay Range: The expected base pay range for this role is $78 - $85 per hour.
- Engagement: This is a contract role starting with a 6-month engagement and potential to extend.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week maximum.
