Based in Paris (with possible travel in Europe), you will be fully involved in our consultancy assignments or/and manage high value projects for prestigious clients, leaders in the insurance market. As part of the Actuarial & Risk practice, under internal supervision, you will support our clients in all aspects of their actuarial projects:

  • Insurance risk management: ORSA, Risk Appetite, risk management indicators ;
  • Actuarial modelling: improvement and modernization of modelling tools, development of tools, implementation of alternative models integrating AI in particular ;
  • Products and pricing: design or redesign of offers, pricing studies, business and profitability management;
  • ESG and climate risks: integration of ESG criteria into financial asset management, climate risk assessment, implementation of stress tests, ... ;
  • Optimization of data management framework, tools and analytics ;
  • Actuarial support for mergers and acquisitions.

Profile required

  • A fellow actuary or an individual with a master’s degree in data science, engineering or in applied mathematics or statistics.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience, acquired in an insurance company or consulting firm specializing in insurance.
  • Solid expertise in actuarial techniques (pricing, reserving, reinsurance, solvency, etc.), insurance products, specific risks or insurance standards (French accounting standards, Solvency 2, IFRS 17, etc.).
  • Familiar with the main non-life actuarial tools used in pricing and provisioning, as well as the programming language commonly used in actuarial work (R, Python, SAS, VBA, etc.) and data management tools.
  • Passionate and want to invest in the insurance sector;
  • A team player with a strong entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Proactive and have a very good analytical mind, synthesis and a great ability to manage priorities;
  • Fluent in English and French (mandatory);
