Senior Platform Architect

We're looking for a Senior Platform Architect with deep experience in Databricks, Snowflake, or both, eager to shape data platform architecture on consulting projects for the health industry. 

Are you our new Senior Platform Architect? 

As a Senior Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our clients' data platforms. You will work closely with our infrastructure engineers, AI engineers and product designers to build secure, scalable, and future-proof data platforms based on strategic initiatives. Two projects are rarely the same. 

Our projects can be everything from actionable data and AI strategies, data architecture designs to advanced AI/ML models and scalable enterprise data platforms. Our organization is structured around two tribes, Strategy & Transformation and AI & Engineering, working hand in hand on every project. We cross-staff dynamically, assembling cross-functional teams tailored to each project's needs. As a Senior Platform Architect, you'll be based in the AI & Engineering tribe. 

Development is at the core of Intellishore, and we have dedicated plans for each Intellishorian and internal academy sessions for upskilling and knowledge sharing. You will also get the opportunity to influence and drive the business development of Intellishore to ensure we keep getting better at delivering value to our clients. 

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for an experienced individual who is self-driven, resourceful and enjoys working in teams to solve challenges and develop the best solutions.

We imagine that you have:  

• Deep, hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or both 

• Extensive experience with data architecture, data modelling, data engineering and integration towards many types of data sources 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• A big interest in being a proactive mentor and knowledge sharer who stays on top of the latest platform releases and news 

• In the best case, you have been working as a consultant driving data platform projects, sales and account ownership.  

• Experience configuring data platforms as Infrastructure-as-Code, for example Terraform, is a big plus 

• Experience running data platforms in regulated environments is a plus

In this role, you will: 

• Design and evolve our clients' data platform architecture, including Databricks and/or Snowflake environments 

• Set technical direction and best practice for data engineering and integration across projects 

• Configure and maintain data platforms as Infrastructure-as-Code 

• Mentor and share knowledge across the team, keeping everyone up to date on the latest platform capabilities 

• Build strong client relationships and translate business needs into robust technical solutions
