Summary
The Sr. Director, Strategic Alliances & Partnerships oversees and nurtures key partner relationships and is responsible for ensuring partner success by fostering alignment, delivering strategic enablement, and empowering partners to excel. By working closely with key partners, this role creates the foundation for remarkable client experiences, leveraging partner relationships to drive mutual growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Manage Intellum’s portfolio of strategic partnerships, ensuring partner program effectiveness
- Develop and implement partnership strategies and frameworks that help enable and position partners to drive business growth and mutual value
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment of interests and sustained collaboration
- Monitor and measure the performance and impact of partnerships, optimizing for mutual success
- Work closely with executive stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and partners
- Lead and manage strategic partnership initiatives and programs, advise on data-driven approaches to continuously improve program effectiveness
- Ensure partners are aligned to ongoing company strategies and goals
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure partnership success
- Own creation and delivery of partner business reviews
- Continuously assess and improve partnership processes and methodologies
- Proactively address challenges and resolve issues to maintain successful strategic alliances
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in strategic partnerships
- Own operational oversight of partner experience – point of escalation
- Educate internal stakeholders and teams on partnership positioning, goals and objectives
- Demonstrates the Partnerships & Alliances competencies: Persuasion, Activation, Collaboration, Interpersonal Savvy, Business Insights, Executive Alignment and Communication
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, partner management, or similar roles at a technology company
- Demonstrable success in building senior-level business relationships and facilitating conversations at all levels
- Proven experience in strategic partnership management and business development
- Established network and relationships with key stakeholders
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and sustaining high-level relationships
- Experience in leading teams with a focus on achieving strategic objectives and driving results
- Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions
- Experience working in a Software or SaaS environment
- Ability to travel ~30% of the time, and work collaboratively across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in SaaS
- Experience with SaaS, LMS, CMS, and/or software development implementation management (LMS preferred)
- Experience or familiarity with various CRM, Project Management, and sales/revenue tools
- Proficient in Google Suite and Mac OS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
