Investment Analyst Intern

Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst Intern to join our team on-site in our Budapest office. This paid internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture capital. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Assist in performing industry and market research to identify trends and investment risks.
  • Support due diligence efforts for potential investments.
  • Prepare investment reports, presentations, and financial summaries.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide analytical insights.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to develop investment strategies.
  • Assist in tracking business and financial news relevant to investment decisions.
  • Support other investment-related projects assigned.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Preference will be given to Master’s candidates graduating in 2025-2026.  
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial sense.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior internship experience in finance, investment banking, or asset management is a plus.
