We focus on hiring the core team and senior talent to work together in person in NYC to build a collaborative and supportive culture. But we’re still open to hiring best-in-class remote talent anywhere within 6 hours of the NYC timezone.

Description

We’re looking for a Head of Growth who will help onboard builders, institutions, and users into our ecosystem via different growth initiatives – such as events, education programs, or business funnels. This is a high-impact and velocity role, managing a team.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable with starting growth programs from scratch and being hands-on, but able to delegate and staff accordingly. They should be not only business but technical-minded, with a strong care for user success and support. This person has range, and regardless of the metric to impact (onboarding developers, or institutions), can focus on building systems of growth that scale. This person is not desk-bound or dependent, but a self-starter and insight-driven proposer.

Role

  • Build a growth team, as an end-to-end growth funnel for the ecosystem, that can scale globally. 
  • Design and own vertical-specific programs that impact growth, such as an events calendar, community hubs, or developer success and grants program.
  • Architect a Cosmos Hub-specific growth function to drive new development and contributions to Cosmos and its Hub.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • +6 years of experience running major ecosystem growth initiatives in web3.
  • Strong portfolio of project and program management, coordinating multiple providers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales, and a strong business background.
  • Confident and fluent in English, with public-speaking skills.
  • Technical confidence and fluency.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and lead initiatives on the ground.
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and independence.

Bonus:

  • Strong social media and ecosystem presence.
  • Deeply familiar with the crypto ecosystem and landscape
