We focus on hiring the core team and senior talent to work together in person in NYC to build a collaborative and supportive culture. But we’re still open to hiring best-in-class remote talent anywhere within 6 hours of the NYC timezone.

Description

We are looking for a Customer Success Engineer to drive customer and developer success for current and prospective chain builders using the core Cosmos stack (Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, Cosmos EVM, and IBC).

The person in this role will be our main touchpoint to the growing ecosystem of Cosmos chain builders. You will be responsible for understanding our customers deeply (their ambitions, painpoints, blockers, needs, etc.), and driving our product and engineering efforts to be focused on accelerating their success. This is a high-impact role with a lot of space to design, build, and execute on the system to ensure Cosmos chain builders are continuously achieving greater feats.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure developers continually choose our products and can integrate / work with them seamlessly.
  • Ensure partners and customers feel heard and prioritized by our team, with their feedback reflected in our products.
  • Ensure product teams are well informed about how our partners, developers, and customers feel about the product (what they love, outstanding painpoints, and missing functionality).
  • Ensure the day-to-day technical needs of customers and developers are met so engineering and product teams can focus on building products.
  • Ensure marketing, BD, and growth can create marketing materials, conduct sales calls, and understand customer profiles for highly technical products.

Qualifications

Required

  • Incredible at learning how new technologies work and are able to teach others how to use them effectively.
  • Excellent at coordinating across product, engineering, operations, growth, and customer support.
  • Strong communication skills both conversational (with customers, partners, and internal teams) and in technical writing (documentation and guides).
  • Comfortable on the frontlines receiving both positive and negative feedback, handling contentious situations with grace and positivity.
  • Ability to build high-leverage, easy-to-use tools that automate away repetitive and time consuming tasks.

Bonus

  • Experience building with the Cosmos SDK.
  • Deep knowledge of Cosmos products and technologies including the Cosmos SDK, IBC (protocol and relayer software), Cosmos Go (formerly Skip Go), Cosmos EVM, CosmWasm, Cosmos web tooling (CosmJS, Cosmos Kit, Graz, InterchainJS), Cosmovisor, Cosmos Chain Registry, etc.
