You will collaborate across Revenue, Finance, IT, Legal, and GTM teams to ensure accurate and efficient revenue operations as the business continues to grow.

This role will be instrumental in leading key aspects of the month-end close, standardizing reconciliations and analytical processes, and improving the overall rigor and scalability of our revenue accounting operations. You’ll also help drive automation and leverage AI-powered tools to modernize workflows and reduce manual effort.

We are seeking a driven, open-minded, and technically strong individual with deep revenue accounting experience who is excited to build scalable processes in a fast-paced AI environment. This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 606), excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to operationalize complex revenue flows.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing revenue accounting team, bringing a strong passion for people management, coaching, and creating an environment where individuals can thrive.
  • Own and standardize reconciliations for revenue-related accounts, including deferred revenue, unbilled AR, and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Perform and enhance flux and variance analyses for revenue and related accounts, identifying key drivers and explaining business trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Billing, Deal Desk, and GTM teams to ensure accurate and scalable revenue processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606, including proper treatment of SaaS and usage-based revenue streams.
  • Support and operationalize revenue recognition within NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management), ensuring system integrity and accurate outputs.
  • Collaborate with Finance Systems and Data teams to improve data flows and reporting, leveraging tools such as Snowflake.
  • Monitor and assess the accounting impact of new product offerings, pricing changes, and contract structures, ensuring proper revenue treatment.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives, including the use of AI tools to streamline reconciliations, reporting, and close activities.
  • Develop, document, and maintain strong internal controls over revenue processes, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Support external audits, including preparation of documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Lead and support systems implementation and enhancement projects across the quote-to-cash cycle, including defining revenue accounting requirements, partnering closely with Finance Systems teams, and driving UAT efforts for system changes and new product launches.

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on revenue accounting (SaaS/Usage experience preferred).
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Strong experience leading or supporting month-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Experience with NetSuite, including NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management) as a revenue accounting engine.
  • Familiarity with Stripe, Salesforce (SFDC), and Snowflake is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to standardize processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Interest in and experience leveraging automation and AI tools to enhance accounting workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across Finance, GTM, and Systems teams.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
