Senior Vice President, B2B Technology
Position Overview:
Interdependence is seeking a strategic and driven Senior Vice President, B2B Technology to lead our expanding portfolio of business-to-business technology clients. This senior-level position is ideal for a PR professional with deep expertise in B2B tech communications and a strong track record of agency growth. Approximately 50% of this role will focus on business development—identifying, pursuing, and winning new client opportunities within the B2B tech space. The successful candidate will also oversee client strategy, manage high-performing teams, and contribute to agency thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead business development efforts, with a focus on securing new B2B technology clients and expanding existing relationships.

Develop and implement strategic communications plans that support client business objectives and elevate their industry presence.

Serve as a senior-level advisor to clients on media relations, messaging, crisis communications, and market positioning.

Build and maintain strong relationships with media, analysts, and influencers across B2B tech sectors, including SaaS, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions.

Mentor and lead account teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring top-quality work across campaigns.

Stay ahead of industry trends and client competitors to provide proactive counsel and innovative PR strategies.

Partner with internal teams to incorporate data, insights, and creative storytelling into client programs.

Represent Interdependence at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in public relations, with a strong focus on B2B technology.

Proven business development skills with a track record of winning and growing tech clients.

Deep understanding of the B2B tech landscape and ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives.

Strong relationships with relevant media and analysts.

Experience leading and mentoring agency teams in a collaborative environment.

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
Preferred:

Previous agency leadership experience in the B2B tech sector.
