Chief of Staff
Banking is being reimagined—and customers expect every interaction to be easy, personal, and instant.
We are building a universal banking assistant that millions of U.S. consumers can use to transact across all financial institutions and, over time, autonomously drive their financial goals. Powered by our proprietary BankGPT platform, this assistant is positioned to displace age-old legacy systems within financial institutions and own the end-to-end CX stack, unlocking a $200B opportunity and potentially replacing multiple publicly traded companies.
Ultimately, our mission is to drive financial well-being for millions of consumers.
With over two-thirds of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, 50% holding less than $500 in savings, and only 17% financially literate, we aim to put financial well-being on autopilot to help solve this problem.
Role Overview:
As Chief of Staff, you will operate as a strategic extension of the CEO — driving focus, alignment, and execution across the company. You’ll play a pivotal role in scaling the organization, shaping cross-functional priorities, and ensuring operational excellence as we accelerate growth.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has a strong strategic mindset, and can execute quickly. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, ensure accountability, and turn strategy into action.
The scope of work will range from strategic initiatives that help the organization scale to tactical and operational activities — including managing the CEO’s inbox, scheduling meetings, prioritizing communications, and ensuring the CEO’s time is focused on the most important issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution & Company Prioritization:
- Partner closely with the CEO to define, operationalize, and track company-wide strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO — surfacing insights, identifying gaps, and accelerating decision-making.
- Manage day-to-day CEO workflows, including inbox triage, scheduling, and follow-ups to ensure operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Program Leadership:
- Drive execution of high-priority initiatives across GTM, Product, and Operations.
- Work with the CEO and functional leaders to align strategic projects with business goals.
- Ensure key initiatives are resourced, on track, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Metrics, Visibility & Governance:
- Build dashboards and reporting cadences that give leadership clear visibility into performance (e.g., pipeline health, adoption, retention, org scaling).
- Anticipate and unblock operational issues before they escalate.
- Ensure a strong rhythm of communication and accountability across the org.
Stakeholder & Investor Engagement:
- Partner with the CEO on board communications, investor updates, and strategic narrative.
- Support external engagements with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Coordinate preparation and follow-up for key leadership and investor meetings.
Leadership Leverage:
- Act as a force multiplier for the CEO’s time — ensuring focus on the highest priorities.
- Own preparation and follow-up for leadership meetings, strategic offsites, and decision forums.
- Drive clarity and alignment across teams through structured communication and coordination.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, Chief of Staff, or equivalent roles in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Experience working as a Chief of Staff in scaling organizations during Series A–C growth stages is preferred.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work with senior executives. - Exceptional communication, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills.
- High bias for action with the ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Based in the Bay Area with ability to work from the office as necessary.
Why This Role Matters:
- This is a foundational role working directly with the CEO and leadership team.
- You’ll shape how the company operates and scales during its most critical growth stage.
- Your impact will be visible in faster execution, stronger alignment, and accelerated business outcomes.
Compensation:
- Salary and Variable Compensation: $200,000 – $225,000 (depending on experience)
- Equity package commensurate with stage and impact potential.
Benefits:
- 💡 100% paid health, dental & vision care
- 💰 401(k) match & financial wellness perks
- 🌴 Discretionary PTO + paid parental leave
- 🏡 Remote-first flexibility
- 🧠 Mental health, wellness & family benefits
- 🚀 A mission-driven team shaping the future of banking
