Staff Product Manager - Integrations Strategy

San Francisco / Palo Alto (In-Office)

Banking is being reimagined—and customers expect every interaction to be easy, personal, and instant

We are building a universal banking assistant that millions of U.S. consumers can use to transact across all financial institutions and, over time, autonomously drive their financial goals. Powered by our proprietary BankGPT platform, this assistant is positioned to displace age-old legacy systems within financial institutions and own the end-to-end CX stack, unlocking a $200B opportunity and potentially replacing multiple publicly traded companies

Ultimately, our mission is to drive financial well-being for millions of consumers.

With over two-thirds of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, 50% holding less than $500 in savings, and only 17% financially literate, we aim to put financial well-being on autopilot to help solve this problem.

Staff Product Manager, Integrations Strategy

Company: interface.ai Location: Remote-friendly (Palo Alto, CA preferred) Reports to: VP of Product Compensation: $190,000 - $250,000 base salary + bonus + equity (depending on location & experience)

About interface.ai

Banking hasn't kept up with how people actually live their financial lives. At interface.ai, we're building AI-native products that transform how millions of Americans interact with their financial institutions, making every interaction intelligent, personal, and proactive.

Our platform powers AI agents that handle real banking tasks end-to-end: moving money, resolving issues, converting loans, and surfacing financial insights across voice, chat, and digital channels. We're not building another chatbot. We're building the AI infrastructure that will become the primary way people bank.

With two-thirds of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, only 17% financially literate, and 50% holding less than $500 in savings, the urgency is real. We're putting financial well-being on autopilot, starting with the community financial institutions that serve everyday Americans.

We power AI agents for 100+ financial institutions, serving millions of banking members across the U.S., and are backed by leading investors including Avataar Venture Partners and Blume Ventures.

Our platform enables banks and credit unions to automate high-volume customer interactions across voice and digital channels while improving resolution rates, reducing operational costs, and increasing customer engagement.

Key credibility anchors:

  • Series B AI company building agentic AI infrastructure for financial institutions

  • Trusted by 100+ banks and credit unions across North America

  • Serving millions of end users through conversational AI across voice, chat, and mobile channels

The Opportunity

At interface.ai, integrations aren't plumbing. They're a product. The depth of our integration layer directly determines what our AI can do for customers and how sticky the platform becomes.

This is a strategic role reporting directly to the VP of Product. You decide which integrations to build, how to package them, and how they drive business outcomes. You also drive the technical execution, not just the strategy.

What You'll Own

  • Transform integrations from a technical function into a product-driven competitive advantage: integrations should open doors, not block deals
  • Build and manage integration packages: pre-built bundles for specific customer segments that dramatically reduce time-to-live for new customers
  • Define segment-specific integration strategies: which integrations unlock which customer segments and why
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and manage the integration roadmap across core banking systems, contact center platforms, and data providers
  • Design certification and testing programs that ensure integration quality, reliability, and partner confidence
  • Influence go-to-market strategy through integration capabilities: your roadmap directly enables new deals and new segments
  • Define integration architecture for new product lines: your strategic planning ensures the right integrations are in place as new products launch. You remain the integration authority throughout.

Who You Are

You see integrations the way a chess player sees the board: each one opens up new moves, and the right sequence creates a position that's hard to replicate. You've watched deals die because an integration wasn't ready, and you've seen firsthand how deep integrations become the reason customers stay and expand.

You're equally comfortable in a technical architecture review and a sales deal review. You can evaluate a banking API spec and then explain to a GTM team why this integration unlocks a $50M customer segment. You translate between engineering ("this requires a new adapter pattern") and business ("this means we can close the top 3 pipeline deals").

You build your own tools. You use AI to map integration landscapes, analyze API documentation, generate partner comparison matrices, and accelerate strategic planning — building agents, writing scripts, creating automated workflows, whatever gets the job done fastest. You don't wait for someone to compile the data. You compile it yourself, faster than anyone expects.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in product management, with 3+ years in integrations, platform partnerships, or API products
  • Experience building integration packages, partner ecosystems, or API programs that drive business outcomes
  • Technical enough to evaluate banking APIs, contact center integrations, and data exchange protocols: you don't need to code them, but you can read the docs, assess the architecture, and identify risks
  • Understanding of how segment-specific integration needs map to business opportunity
  • Experience with packaging capabilities into customer-ready offerings that reduce deployment friction
  • Track record of influencing GTM strategy through product capabilities
  • AI-native workflow: You build with AI daily — mapping integration landscapes, analyzing API specs, generating comparison matrices, automating documentation. The specific tools don't matter (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Replit, custom scripts — all count); what matters is that you've moved beyond prompting into building.

Bonus Points

  • Financial services integration experience (core banking systems, CCaaS platforms, or financial data providers)
  • Built or managed API partnership programs
  • Product-led growth experience where integrations drive adoption
  • Experience with integration testing, certification, and quality programs

Our Values

  • Act Like You're the Founder: Own the outcome from start to finish
  • No Fear. Speak Your Mind: Candor moves us forward
  • Pursuit of Excellence: Raise the bar, every time
  • AI-First Mindset: Think automation, intelligence, and scale-first in every solution
  • Don't Assume. Seek to Understand: Start with questions, not conclusions

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
