Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the human resources department and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role emphasizes employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The HR Manager acts as a liaison between employees and management, fostering a culture of efficiency, inclusivity, and engagement. They also advise leadership on HR matters and driving initiatives that promote organizational excellence.
Requirements:
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolutions, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
- Maintain Human Resources Information System records and compiles reports from database.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Participate in design, updating and administration of company Benefit Plans
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Recommends innovative approaches, policies and procedures to ensure continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Oversee employee relations issues for corporate stores.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong background in Benefits Administration.
- Familiarity with HR technology systems and data analytics tools; PAYLOCITY a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Meticulous and proficient with data entry and accuracy.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. To also include problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal ability to collaborate with staff at all levels.
- Bilingual Spanish English
