
Team Lead - Inventory Management
Criteria for Clickstop's internal hiring process:

What to expect during the internal hiring process:
Within three business days of submitting your application, you can expect the following:
- Your current manager will receive a notification from Greenhouse prompting them to complete a scorecard evaluating your engagement and performance in your current role.
- Your current manager and the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will meet to discuss the details of the scorecard, and it will be determined if we will proceed with your application.
- If we choose to proceed, you will receive an email from the TAS notifying you that we will be proceeding with your application and it will include a scheduling link to set up time with the open role’s hiring manager
- If we choose not to proceed, you will meet with your manager to discuss why we will not be proceeding with your application at this time.

How to Succeed in This Role:
The Inventory Management Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, leading a team of dedicated Inventory Specialists, and managing down stocking and replenishment activities. The Inventory Team lead is also responsible for optimizing inventory locations and quantities to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency. This position will also regularly communicate and collaborate with other Warehouse teams to share resources and complete projects to drive improvements as needed as well. Regular communication with Manufacturing and Purchasing will also be needed. Strategic thinking, project management and a proactive approach will be instrumental in optimizing our inventory operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Primary Areas of Focus:
Team Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of inventory specialists and down stockers in day-to-day responsibilities and project work
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and, support and hold team members accountable.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous learning and skill development.
Inventory Control
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize pick location stock levels and locations to improve fulfillment efficiencies.
- Implement best practices for inventory accuracy, including regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between inventory and sales, production, and purchasing departments.
Down Stocking
- Oversee the down stocking process to ensure that products are efficiently and accurately moved from storage areas to picking locations.
- Develop down stocking schedules and strategies to proactively maintain optimal stock levels in pick locations.
- Analyze demand patterns and adjust down stocking strategies to meet customer needs and reduce out-of-stock occurrences.
Slotting and New Item Setup
- Lead projects to ensure that picking locations are optimized for fulfilment efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Oversee slotting initiatives that promote pick location density without sacrificing fulfillment or warehouse capacity efficiency.
- Create bin locations and slot new inventory items and categories as needed to meet our brands’ growth goals. Collaborate with various teams to ensure new product launches go smoothly and meet product launch deadlines.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in down stocking and replenishment processes and develop and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy with a proactive approach.
- Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to down stocking and replenishment, incorporating best practices into the warehouse’s processes.
Safety and Organization
- Support and drive safety initiatives and projects to improve safety and ergonomics for all warehouse associates.
- Be a vocal advocate for safe work practices and workspaces and hold others accountable to high standards.
Special Projects
- Assist in projects designed to improve the safety, organization, or cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Assist in projects, as needed, to organize or dispose of slow-moving, defective, or expired inventory.
As a growing team, you should be prepared to perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Regular team lifting of materials over 60 lbs. in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Sit or stand for the majority of the shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, twist, kneel, and squat.
- Perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms.
- Safely operate hand tools and material handling equipment.
Equipment:
Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment, including industrial sewing machines, cutters, winders, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
